Sparks Mill Works was founded in 2013 in San Antonio. Rick Sparks, founder and CEO, is the primary designer and craftsman and has a background in framing, furniture building, home construction and renovations. He earned his MBA from UTSA in 2011 but when he realized could never be as happy in a boardroom as in his wood shop, his wife convinced him to found Sparks Mill Works.
Over the past 15+ years, SMW has provided custom commercial and residential millwork and cabinetry in Austin, Atlanta, New York, Las Vegas, and Asheville, High Point, and Raleigh, NC. We also design and build unique indoor and outdoor living spaces to suit the needs and desires of homeowners.
